Name: Charlie Böhm

Nationality: German

Study: International Business

Time&place:  Wednesday, 19:15 hrs., CultiFest at the Stadspark

Charlie Böhm is just installing himself in front of one of the stages at the Stadspark. “I’m really into reggae and hip-hop and I’ve been told a reggae band will perform here later on.” He’s alone for now, but will be joined by a friend he made at the Griend Festival yesterday. “A really cool guy. He’s also from Germany. He was not in my group; we just met and started drinking together.” Which resulted in a bit of hangover, but he found a cure for that. “I had some limes in my kitchen so I cut them in pieces and put them in water bottles. I let them sit in the fridge for a couple of hours while I went back to sleep and drank them cold. It really helped!”

His house is still quite clean. “I’d give it 8 out of 10, I’m pretty proud of myself.” Moving in was a bit of a hassle. “The houses here are smaller than in Germany, so it was difficult to move the furniture up the narrow stairways. My parents joked that it was so hard to get everything into my apartment that it’s now impossible for me to break up my studies.”
