MAASTRICHT, 20 AUGUST. Yesterday, 2,700 freshmen registered for the Inkom 2013. That’s more than ever. In 2012 there were 2,500 participants, and that was a record too: 250 more than in 2011. The influx has probably to do with the abolishing of the Dutch basic study grant (€251,76 per month) in September 2014. Students that start their bachelor in 2013 are the last to receive the basic grant for three years.
