For the third year in a row, Maastricht will celebrate the expression, creation, discussion and collaboration of feminist, women, trans and gender-non conforming people at Ladyfest on 4 and 5 May.
The programme of the two-day arts and music festival is filled with workshops, lectures, performances, discussions and a community dinner. They cover topics like: What is the meaning of masculinity? Can you be a Christian and a feminist? And which media can people use to educate themselves about feminism nowadays?
All girl punk band Witch Fever, contemporary folk artist Maddie Morris and DJ Roo Honeychild will, among others, take care of the musical side of the festival.
The festival is held at the Mandril Cultural and Political Center. Entrance is free, but a donation of 5-10 euros is suggested.
