Cheering and shouting echoes over the compound of the student association SV Koko as students enjoy a giant water-slide. Ellis, a new first-year student at the faculty of Health, Medicine and Life sciences however remains skeptical: “I’m wearing a white shirt. I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to go into the water.”
Fortunately, there are plenty of other possibilities to spend the afternoon: wine tasting, bike-painting, and even driving lessons. Some of the students were in for a bumpy ride during their first time in the driver’s seat, but in the end, they all came back safe and whole.
