No more bits of paper and post-its on Bastiaan Boh’s desk, a PhD candidate at Psychology. He now uses the Trello app to make his to-do lists. “You can create different panels, for different lists. For example, I have a panel called ‘general’, which contains what I still have to do for my research in broad terms and a panel ‘daily’, which contains the things that I have to do now or this week. It’s up to the user to set up these panels according to their needs.”
Boh likes the fact that adding a new task takes very little time. “It looks both simple and elegant. If you want, you can link a time stamp, so you can also add appointments, for which you can receive a notice beforehand.” The app can also be used on your PC. “To cross off or add items while you are at work.” The to-do lists are a godsend for Boh. “I am not very organised. This makes everything more structured.”
