UM’s Green Office

Last Monday, during the opening of the academic year, the new sustainability centre was opened and UCM students Felix Spira and Ardjan Vermue, who belong to the group of initiators, gave a presentation. At the Green Office, temporarily located in the Language Centre at Sint Servaasklooster, employees and students can drop by with their ideas or questions related to sustainability. The office is managed by a team of students and coordinated by Marc Fisher from UM’s Environmental Department. The future plans include conferences and debates, integration of sustainability as a subject in various curricula, and a database of all UM publications that deal with the topic.
