At the moment, the five members of the Inkom 2011 Working Group spend about twenty hours a week on the preparations, but from 1 January they will go full steam ahead. Four of the five students – Sonja Bongard, Jeroen de Boer, Marianne Boschloo and chairperson Anne van Tetering – have won their spurs in previous years as members of the Central Post, the right hand of the Inkom Working Group during the event itself. The only one who gained his experience elsewhere, is deputy chairman Brendan Moloney.
Whether Inkom 2011 – from 23 until 26 August – will be a lot like this year, is still unclear. Van Tetering: “We will start making plans next week. We have a lot of ideas, but it will not be easy to introduce changes. The existing script is so solid that it leaves very little room to move.” The working group will have an introductory meeting for sponsors, student associations and other contacts in the Bonbonnière next Friday.
