Loves: sunny days, ice-cream and her boyfriend

“I really love the sun and hot days. When the sun is out, I instantly get in a good mood. When I go on holiday, I prefer to go to warm countries. Last year I went to the USA, because my boyfriend was there. We travelled along the West Coast. In Los Angeles it was really hot. I like to lie on the beach all day, but I do get sun-burned easily – that’s the downside.

“I also love eating ice-cream, especially on a warm day. My favourite flavours are banana or chocolate, depending on my mood.

“Of course I love my family and friends too. And my boyfriend. He now lives in China, so we don’t get to see each other that often.”

Hates: waking up in the morning and rain

“I hate to get up early in the morning. Sometimes I have to, because I have to go to work or university. Once I’m up, it’s ok, but I don’t like the alarm ringing and that moment when you know you have to get up. My ideal time to wake up would be eleven o’clock.

“I also hate rain. It’s the getting wet that I hate the most. Also it’s depressing; it’s usually very dark outside when it rains. Everybody’s rushing by to get out of the rain as soon as possible. On sunny days people are more relaxed. Snow isn’t as bad as rain. It looks nicer and you can shake it off yourself. It’s mostly cold, and cold is different than wet.”
