Loves: his own company, biking
His room is full of black boxes that he wants to sell. “Since 2010, I have my own Internet company, selling silk ties. It’s great when you can make a business out of nothing, create something that’s actually yours. It took a while before I dared to make an investment, but the desire to start a company was already there.” He adds smiling: “You have to put your money where your mouth is.”
“I have been biking from childhood. Biking is a nice way to relax. Last summer I made a trip from Amsterdam to Austria. I had lots of fun, cycling from sidewalk café to sidewalk café.”
Hates: several types of annoying people: know-it-alls and slow people
“Do you know those people who stand still on an escalator or halfway up the stairs? I tend to bump into them, especially if I am in a hurry. I simply can’t stand people who move slowly. When I drive, I can be a little impatient too… And I hate going to a pub where people are all crowded together.”
He also hates: “Students who seem to know everything. You know, the bookish types who never set a step in the real world, claiming to know it all, exasperate me.” Being a sixth-year student, he will not be one of them.
