Tunas from all over the world came to Maastricht
It was a spectacle, last weekend’s Tuna festival. The students (and alumni) who play romantic Spanish music could be found all over town singing balcony serenades, giving impromptu performances or singing a duet with local singer Beppie Kraft, whose hit song D’n Hiemel – with Spanish lyrics – is the ultimate Tuna song. The competition for best Tuna was won by the Tuna Universitaria Figueira da Foz from Portugal.
