Looking for a nice way to spend your lunch break? Check out the organ lunch concerts in the university auditorium at the Tongersestraat 53, where well-known organists will play the recently restored organ. The concerts start at 12.30 and take approximately 30 minutes; the auditorium opens at 12.15. The first concert will be on Wednesday 25 January, followed by Tuesday 31 January and Wednesday 22 February. Admission is free of charge.
Maastricht aan tafel
Enjoy a nice dinner for a reasonable price and support a good cause – this is the idea behind Maastricht aan tafel. From 15 to 29 January you can eat a three-course meal for €25.20 in 28 restaurants, including Witloof, Rozemarijn and the Kruisherenhotel. The drummers of Circle Percussion know how to hit a beat. On their selection of extraordinary drums, they will play African and Japanese drum music in their concert on Friday 13 January.
