For four years this day has also been celebrated in Maastricht, which – according to the organisers – is the most French city in the Netherlands. There’ll be a French market, chansons, wine tasting, French old timers, a film about Serge Gainsbourg and a real beach – inspired by St Tropez – at Café Sjiek. The celebrations will take place in the Jekerkwartier from 11.00–14.00. For more information, please visit www.maastrichtnet.nl.
