Sinterklaas

Sinterklaas is one of the most popular and the most respected figures in the Dutch culture. From the day of his arrival out of Spain half of November until he goes back after leaving presents for the children in the beginning December, you will be aware of his presence: the Sinterklaas candy in the supermarkets, images of Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet and there attributes, the songs in the shops and above all: the children’s excitement.
