Move to the groove

31-05-2016

MAASTRICHT. The Faculty of Law celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. Last Friday, 27 May, a party was held for students and staff in Rebelle, the entertainment centre in the former Augustinian church on the Kesselskade. Some six hundred guests (the maximum of 850 had registered, including about 90 employees) moved to the groove. Dean Hildegard Schneider and her husband, professor René de Groot, did the opening dance. DJs provided non-stop music, there were stilt-walkers doing their things, and Robbie Williams popped by. Almost the real one, if we are to believe the reaction on the Law Facebook page: “Good RW impressionist if his tattoos weren’t done with a sharpie and if he had a few kilos less, I would be fooled.”
