Not in Poland, because she is getting “tired” from Polish politics. She mentions the strict abortion law and the current problems with the river Oder. “It is very polluted, the fish are dying, but the government is not doing anything.”
They both chose Maastricht because it is safe there. “You can also walk around in the evenings,” they say. Gatelier: “And I really wanted to study in English. It is an important language to master and after my studies I want to work abroad. As a curator in an art museum, for example.” She also draws and paints herself. “As a hobby,” she adds quickly. “For me, that's a way of expressing myself when I don't feel like talking or writing. All worries fall off my shoulders while painting.”
